Lauritz Ballhaus charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauritz Ballhaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Lokimotive Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauritz Ballhaus to maneuver through the defense. Patrick-Marc Hülsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dagoberto Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Teuwen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aloísio Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Teuwen having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Hartmut Malzkorn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokimotive Leipzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hartmut Malzkorn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guarimanzal SC's Roger Nogueira suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. A collision led to Lokimotive Leipzig getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Niels Pelzer hit a great ball. The supporters of Lokimotive Leipzig booed when Guarimanzal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Magalhães took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Teuwen. Boris Teuwen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Patrick-Marc Hülsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guarimanzal SC's zone, Niels Pelzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Linhares came out of the goal and Niels Pelzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niels Pelzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dagoberto Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertinho Magalhães made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Albertinho Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarimanzal SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Teuwen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karlo Schindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Dagoberto Linhares came out of the goal and Karlo Schindler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Patrick-Marc Hülsmann notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Guarimanzal SC's Dagoberto Linhares. Dagoberto Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Patrick-Marc Hülsmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Guarimanzal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Kai Kreter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Vitório de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Guarimanzal SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lokimotive Leipzig from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
