After 7 played minutes FC Fano got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Brötzmann. FC Fano's Dietrich Winkler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC Fano from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Thurl Costello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dietrich Winkler to make any attempt to save it. Kilmacar's Tierney Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Lampadius in the 17th minute of play. Tierney Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evren Cambaz in the 18th minute of the match. Dietrich Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donan Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Bohannon McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Thurl Costello made a precise shot to the right of Dietrich Winkler. FC Fano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Torey Frankson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Otto König kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Fano getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luka Tudor hit a great ball. Tierney Kirby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Lampadius in the 41st minute of play. Teris Gough made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fano's Karl Beauchêne. Jerry Finkelstein's late challenge caught a Kilmacar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Finkelstein helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kilmacar booed when FC Fano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Finkelstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evren Cambaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilhelm Lampadius during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tierney Kirby made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Evren Cambaz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donan Lester in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Fano's goalkeeper Dietrich Winkler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Fano booed when Kilmacar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kilmacar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
