Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rockport's Clive Keng started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniz Chong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick-Marc Hülsmann in the 6th minute of the match. Daniz Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlo Schindler in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Lokimotive Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Aimo Glos. When Azam Paine came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rockport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azam Paine couldn't finish the play. Lokimotive Leipzig's Boris Teuwen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lokimotive Leipzig from getting a goal against them. Daniz Chong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niels Pelzer went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniz Chong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlo Schindler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Niels Pelzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniz Chong. Rockport's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niels Pelzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Clive Keng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Teuwen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sharizan Seah in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Clive Keng took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Boris Teuwen to make any attempt to save it. After 44 played minutes Lokimotive Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Helge Kleine. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlo Schindler in the 47th minute of play forced Rockport's goalkeeper Daniz Chong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rockport players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lokimotive Leipzig were winning 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karlo Schindler to make the kick off. Rockport's Daniz Chong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Pelzer in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lokimotive Leipzig's Patrick-Marc Hülsmann got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Albert Teo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Teuwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Darren Lee fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rockport's protests and gave Darren Lee a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lokimotive Leipzig booed when Rockport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Teuwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Teo in the 66th minute of the match. Rockport's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Niels Pelzer scored to the left of an out of position Daniz Chong, making the score, 1-3. Karlo Schindler struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Daniz Chong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokimotive Leipzig. After a rather tough play, Rockport's Arif Laycock got a free kick in the 78th minute. Boris Teuwen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Teo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Albert Teo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Teuwen. Boris Teuwen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Lauritz Ballhaus put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Lokimotive Leipzig's Lauritz Ballhaus got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Rockport's Arif Laycock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Teuwen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kai Kreter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rockport fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lokimotive Leipzig were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
