The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seçkin Öksüzoğlu during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seçkin Öksüzoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Lorenzo James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Armando Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Seçkin Öksüzoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Atlético Rovesco's Lucas Furtado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Seçkin Öksüzoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seçkin Öksüzoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Atlético Rovesco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Domin to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Bihar to make the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Casomiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
