The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Podolski got free with Apolo Santxol in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes Huckebein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Sasso who took care of the corner kick. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Bernardo Sasso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Apolo Santxol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute, Kurtuluş Senih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Alvaro Perez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin. Batıkan Muhsin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Aykut Canel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Santxol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aykut Canel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Dalkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Gwidon Augustyn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Batıkan Muhsin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 87 played minutes Huckebein got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Seco. In the 88th minute of the match Bernardo Sasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Santxol skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Batıkan Muhsin managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Huckebein's Marin Jumancă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
