Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octavian Basten got the match started through his kick off. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lano in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Adrián Espadas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Venceslao didn't get a good kick on the ball. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hoffmanns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Basten in the 21st minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Hoffmanns was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Tartalo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cyprien Combaz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this August Hoffmanns quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Anestis Kotsopoulos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Wennerqvist, 1-1. Adrián Espadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Hoffmanns having to make a save. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 36th minute of play. Mesut Özil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Haupt in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hakem Al Khames during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hakem Al Khames hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Özil in the 47th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Adrián Espadas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Anestis Kotsopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hugo Haupt got a free kick in the 54th minute. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. Răzvan Necula scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Marco-Antonio van Basten got a free kick in the 65th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. After 67 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Marco-Antonio van Basten. The crowd rose to their feet as Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of August Hoffmanns. That made the score 1-4 after 69 minutes of play. Romulo Thomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Haupt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Soroca F.C. defense, Hugo Haupt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Wennerqvist. The Soroca F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Wennerqvist should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romulo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Necula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soroca F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
