Luís Paulo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 4th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Luís Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 16th minute of play. Hernan Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luís Paulo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Venceslao in the 21st minute of the match. Fabian Ivașcu hit a great ball. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Flying Dutch's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Amador Venceslao heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Luís Paulo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 35th minute of play. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrián Espadas to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paulo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The Soroca F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. After some careless play in the Flying Dutch defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Paulo Romero. The Flying Dutch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Paulo Romero should have stopped the shot. Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fabian Ivașcu in the 77 minute of the game. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flying Dutch's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Venceslao was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Paulo Romero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 83 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero. Luís Paulo Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paulo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Paulo Romero. Luís Paulo Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8.
