Alvaro Raymond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Lilko Timov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Lilko Timov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save VN SOKOLI-VARNA from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lilko Timov. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute Eloi Ocomardia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes in the game Okaner Kornes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marian Todorov. Alvaro Raymond's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lilko Timov firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute Zhelyazko Davidov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Lilko Timov got control of the ball when Alvaro Raymond tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Qing Ying in the 28th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Ocomardia in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Raymond was the one to do the kick off. If Kajetan Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. When Enver Heybetli fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VN SOKOLI-VARNA's protests and gave Enver Heybetli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Enver Heybetli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 66th minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Lilko Timov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Tino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lilko Timov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 72nd minute of play. Despidida AFC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after VN SOKOLI-VARNA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Lucila took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Feliksas Fenichev heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhelyazko Davidov got free with Fernando Selatse in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
