Vinicio Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Henning in the 15th minute of the match. In the last second August Hoffmanns throw himself and got hold of the ball when Paolo Eutor in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the xeneise dream team's Paolo Eutor in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Paolo Eutor put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of August Hoffmanns. August Hoffmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Habil Castolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Hoffmanns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match the xeneise dream team got a corner. Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zacharias Siatzis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henrik Askelöf was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Habil Castolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Maximilian Henning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Paolo Eutor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the xeneise dream team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Eutor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habil Castolo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Eutor in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hoffmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vinicio Aires made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mesut Özil sent off a good shot on target. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habil Castolo in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Leif-Eric Albrecht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave the xeneise dream team the free kick. The supporters of the xeneise dream team booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif-Eric Albrecht didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Leif-Eric Albrecht. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Eutor in the 86th minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Tymoteusz Terasek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match the xeneise dream team got a corner. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
