The corner was taken by Zacharias Siatzis in the 9th minute. the xeneise dream team's Fryderyk Czerner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ignacio Mahuzier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paolo Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 15 minutes on the clock, Henrik Askelöf commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vinicio Aires had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Theodosis Kasselakis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 17th minute, Theodosis Kasselakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Aires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th match minute, INTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Kapataidakis to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Arda Ardashov's long shot passed Ignacio Mahuzier's right side. It was 1-1, 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Habil Castolo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ignacio Mahuzier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Habil Castolo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Mahuzier. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. After 29 played minutes the xeneise dream team got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Lizardi. In the 35th minute, the xeneise dream team's Habil Castolo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Michalis Sardelas made the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Mahuzier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habil Castolo in the 54th minute of play. Arda Ardashov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ignacio Mahuzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Habil Castolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner ended in Theodosis Kasselakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but the xeneise dream team's Vinicio Aires did a great save. The supporters of the xeneise dream team booed when INTER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Papadakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Mahuzier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habil Castolo in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, INTER's Argyris Papadakos got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 97th minute of the match the xeneise dream team got a corner. INTER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zacharias Siatzis ran over to the corner to take the kick. the xeneise dream team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
