Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emiliano Velasco started the match with the kick off. Emiliano Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 7th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 8th minute of play. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel de Lara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Selatse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abel de Lara did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fernando Selatse 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Guga Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexilhão F. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oliver Rizzo was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaia Barba, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germano Pernambucanos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Fernando Selatse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes Mexilhão F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Rizzo who took care of the corner kick. In the 43rd match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kacper Jaworski to maneuver through the defense. The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anaia Barba to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guga Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 61st minute of the match. Guga Tavares made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Dinu Ivănescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 77thth minute of the game Emiliano Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, one of Mexilhão F. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Ancho Branca replaced Dinu Ivănescu. The audience was convinced that Toro Martínez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Tavares was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Guga Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 92nd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guga Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The Mexilhão F. C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despidida AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Despidida AFC.
