The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Lino Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermengol Baena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Jan Hop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Bosch let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. 23 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermengol Baena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermengol Baena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 30 played minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a freekick which was hit by Bob Morley. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermengol Baena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Hop to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Lino Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nicollao Narbona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Eztebe was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Solustiano Blea in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Solustiano Blea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Eztebe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the game's 70th minute ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Solustiano Blea took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Roberto Eztebe and thus the score was 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Rios got free with Ermengol Baena in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Solustiano Blea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in AFC FUSION's zone, Nicollao Narbona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal and Nicollao Narbona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute Nicollao Narbona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Nicollao Narbona came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 94th minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AFC FUSION's corner Dawid Beckham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ermengol Baena quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Golob took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
