Marcelo Barovero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dale Dolar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. Herensuge Colomes's shot from long distance in the 96th minute was not bad at all, but Bolivia's Marcelo Barovero knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bolivia.
