In the 16thth minute of the game Ebardo Vega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Jägers's Eddie Svanberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Vennerkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dario Ramis. That made the score 4-0 in the 18 minute of play. Eddie Svanberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ebardo Vega's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Beal were furious when Silvano Tobias was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 26 minutes into the game, one of Beal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
