In the 9th minute, Torsten Vallengren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celestino Lope. The goal made the score 1-0. Jefferson Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Celestino Lope made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Francisco Balesio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Lope. BILARDONETA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Balesio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 18th minute Torsten Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th play minute Jefferson Furlan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celestino Lope. 3-0. Norberto Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Elvio Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, BILARDONETA FC's Norberto Oriol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Llorienzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, BILARDONETA FC's Norberto Oriol got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jefferson Furlan scored 4-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Lope, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norberto Oriol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Celestino Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Vallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Torsten Vallengren made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Vallengren in the 51st minute of play forced BILARDONETA FC's goalkeeper Celestino Lope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Furlan in the 52nd minute of play. BILARDONETA FC's Celestino Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Vallengren in the 55th minute of play. Jefferson Furlan scored 7-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Lope, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chacabuco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while BILARDONETA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
