The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 7 in the game by Albino Osoro from a close distance when the talented Emílio de Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Guarapari do Esp. Santo's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in A S Y A™'s zone, Ernesto Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Lorien came out of the goal and Ernesto Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to A S Y A™ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ariel Chayo hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, A S Y A™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Chayo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Albino Osoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio de Amorim was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Omar Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio de Amorim having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Osoro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Acuña struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Emílio de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A S Y A™. 24 minutes into the game, Albino Osoro lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Emílio de Amorim. The supporters of A S Y A™ booed when Guarapari do Esp. Santo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emílio de Amorim was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Albino Osoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albino Osoro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Ramon Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Emílio de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Guarapari do Esp. Santo got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Fernandez. In the 58th match minute, Guarapari do Esp. Santo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Fernandez hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Simon Loramendi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emílio de Amorim. Guarapari do Esp. Santo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Florian in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Santo's Guilherme Quirino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Fernandez in the 67th minute of play forced A S Y A™'s goalkeeper Santiago Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Isaias Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When A S Y A™'s Isaias Florian in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarapari do Esp. Santo's goalie prevented a goal. Matheus da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Isaias Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Isaias Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A S Y A™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Florian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A S Y A™'s Santiago Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Fernandez in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes in the game, Ernesto Fernandez dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jânio Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Santiago Lorien made a huge save. A S Y A™'s Santiago Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Fernandez in the 84th minute of play. Emílio de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes A S Y A™ got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Chayo. 91 minutes into the game, A S Y A™'s Isaias Florian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emílio de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ramon Piarres scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guarapari do Esp. Santo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A S Y A™.
