Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fc Asa's Henning Kleinehellefort started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Henning Kleinehellefort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Boran Sinan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Aytunç Tanberk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Gnann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Karl Straub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Boran Sinan came out of the goal and Karl Straub tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Aytunç Tanberk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Asa's Holger Gnann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aytunç Tanberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Gnann having to interfere. If Gani Pektürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasimir Kuhn hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALATASARAY! After a rather tough play, Fc Asa's Jan Killmaier got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Gani Pektürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Aytunç Tanberk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Gnann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half GALATASARAY were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aytunç Tanberk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Karl Straub's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Boran Sinan was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Gani Pektürks short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Holger Gnann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. GALATASARAY's Aytunç Tanberk got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Asa's zone, Aytunç Tanberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Gnann came out of the goal and Aytunç Tanberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Straub took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Boran Sinan. Ahmet Boran Sinan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Abdulaziz Kuray hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Karl Straub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Boran Sinan having to interfere. In the 80th minute Henning Kleinehellefort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Boran Sinan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Killmaier kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Holger Gnann was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tolga Togay. After having played for 87 minutes, Aytunç Tanberk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytunç Tanberk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Galip Şirzat got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Jan Killmaier suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field.
