Santo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. This resulted in a 5-1 score and a disappointed Ahmet Boran Sinan as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Guarapari do Esp. Santo's Ernesto Fernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Boran Sinan. That made the score 6-1 after 43 minutes of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Boran Sinan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Pinheiro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Boran Sinan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65thth minute of the game Ernesto Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Ahmet Boran Sinan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guarapari do Esp. Santo's zone, Mustafa Numan Öksak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio de Amorim came out of the goal and Mustafa Numan Öksak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Aytunç Tanberk got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Ernesto Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guarapari do Esp. Santo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. There was no doubt that Guarapari do Esp. Santo were the better team. Guarapari do Esp. Santo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
