Arvid Vennerkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanju Zümer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Eddie Svanberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Baransel in the 4th minute of play. Bilecik JK were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after FC Jägers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taha Özselen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bilecik JK's corner Halil Utku Kutbay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eddie Svanberg quite easily take care of the ball. Taha Özselen hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. FC Jägers's Eddie Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Nuri Temizalp in the 9th minute of play. Eddie Svanberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Baransel in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ahmet Arif Baransel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilecik JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Arif Baransel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Svanberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eddie Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaşar Nuri Temizalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match, Arvid Vennerkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tanju Zümer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Arvid Vennerkvist put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tanju Zümer. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Jägers! After 47 played minutes, FC Jägers's Svante Groth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tanju Zümer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Jägers reached it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Vennerkvist to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Smitt in the 54th minute of play forced Bilecik JK's goalkeeper Tanju Zümer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ahmet Arif Baransel managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 75th minute Gafur Haneci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanju Zümer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvid Vennerkvist's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Carl Vennerström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Jägers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bilecik JK the free kick. In the 80th match minute, FC Jägers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Vennerström to maneuver through the defense. The FC Jägers fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when FC Jägers's Arvid Vennerkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaşar Nuri Temizalp got free with Eddie Svanberg in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Yaşar Nuri Temizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bilecik JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Jägers.
