The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henning Kleinehellefort was the one to do the kick off. Emílio de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Straub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ernesto Fernandez sped through Fc Asa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Holger Gnann. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Asa's zone, Samuca Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Gnann came out of the goal and Samuca Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Gnann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Fernandez in the 86th minute of the match. When Ernesto Fernandez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Holger Gnann was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ernesto Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarapari do Esp. Santo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Gnann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guarapari do Esp. Santo played a much better game than Fc Asa and deserved their victory. The Fc Asa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
