Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AKYAZISPOR's Melih Uğurata got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Aykut Canel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykut Canel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Urdoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Durmuş Abay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Trúpchev in the 79th minute of play forced AKYAZISPOR's goalkeeper Panait Urdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Bernardo Sasso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. There was no doubt that Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were the better team. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
