Saint Côme de Fresné's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that György Kaszás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, András Galambos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szolnoki MÁV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Côme de Fresné the free kick. András Galambos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Joaquim Gibert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zakariás Bíró. Szolnoki MÁV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Gibert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Christophe Dugas sped through Szolnoki MÁV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zakariás Bíró. In the 37th minute, Christophe Dugas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Szolnoki MÁV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saint Côme de Fresné were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henri Quesada to strike the kick off in the second half. Szolnoki MÁV's Zakariás Bíró played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Quesada in the 53rd minute of play. Zakariás Bíró stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henri Quesada's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Christophe Dugas succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Yazid Debuire took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zakariás Bíró. Zakariás Bíró dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 66th minute, Karl Touzard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Yazid Debuire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Debuire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakariás Bíró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Zakariás Bíró had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yazid Debuire. Zakariás Bíró stood somewhat misplaced when Henri Quesada came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 83 minute. Csanád Újvári's late challenge caught a Saint Côme de Fresné's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Csanád Újvári helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Szolnoki MÁV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Csanád Újvári to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Gibert succeeded in the game's 87th minute to get real power on a long shot . Szolnoki MÁV's Zakariás Bíró hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-8! The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Kaszás didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Quesada in the 94th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Zakariás Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saint Côme de Fresné's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
