The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Matteo should have stopped the shot. Szolnoki MÁV's György Kaszás got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PLUMIN's Gualterio Domiku got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Máté Paszkál sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Matteo skillfully saved the ball. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PLUMIN! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goalkeeper Leonides Matteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by András Kis. Flavio Emeterio's late challenge caught a Szolnoki MÁV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Emeterio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Flavio Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, György Kaszás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Matteo came out of the goal and György Kaszás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zakariás Bíró showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jorge Cristofol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zakariás Bíró read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Leonides Matteo was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and György Kaszás capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. György Kaszás really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ruperto Osmundo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Zakariás Bíró didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLUMIN. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cristofol in the 73rd minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Zakariás Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by András Galambos during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. András Galambos hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Jorge Cristofol made a precise shot to the right of Zakariás Bíró. Szolnoki MÁV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. If Ruperto Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Szolnoki MÁV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szolnoki MÁV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
