Yazid Debuire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Eric Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 6th minute of the match Saint Côme de Fresné got a corner. LinuX F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Côme Durieu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Warner Loria kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Gibert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Christophe Dugas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 19th minute of the match, Henri Quesada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eric Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 22 minutes into the game, Beto Aguilar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Patrice Sénéchal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the game, LinuX F.C.'s Warner Loria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrice Sénéchal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 28 minutes, Henri Quesada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henri Quesada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christophe Dugas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Duarte having to interfere. When Saint Côme de Fresné's Henri Quesada in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LinuX F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Ruben Bénier kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Reynaldo Lankaster came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the LinuX F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Lankaster couldn't finish the play. Eric Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Quesada in the 41st minute of the match. Henri Quesada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Quesada in the 46th minute of play. After the first half LinuX F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Quesada was the one to do the kick off. Eric Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Dugas in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when LinuX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warner Loria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Lankaster was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LinuX F.C.! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Saint Côme de Fresné. Côme Durieu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eric Duarte. 2-2. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Quesada, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Côme Durieu to maneuver through the defense. Beto Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 77 played minutes LinuX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Ulate. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Dugas in the 79th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Bénier during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Bénier to maneuver through the defense. Eric Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Dugas in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Quesada in the 88th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keylor Cubero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saint Côme de Fresné were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
