In the 10th match minute, FC Caspiy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkhip Repin to maneuver through the defense. If Bengt-Arne Stabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Ståhlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Martyn Baiseitov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Wilhelm Anundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Pilgren struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Martyn Baiseitov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIF. Bengt-Arne Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Caspiy fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when FC Caspiy's Timur Grek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Arkhip Repin came free, but Bengt Felin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir Bogdanov ran back to his position shaking his head. Arkhip Repin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkhip Repin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Caspiy's Arkhip Repin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Viktor Pilgren kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timur Grek in the 39th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Bengt Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martyn Baiseitov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Ståhlman in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Klim Muravev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt Felin. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt Felin should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timur Grek was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Nekrasov got free with Bengt Felin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timur Grek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Bengt Felin made a huge save. After 71 played minutes, FC Caspiy's Vladimir Bogdanov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt Felin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Caspiy reached it. When Jonas Ståhlman fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIF's protests and gave Jonas Ståhlman a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Ståhlman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artem Yastrebov in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Felin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on FC Caspiy's corner Klim Muravev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bengt Felin quite easily take care of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Artem Yastrebov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bengt Felin, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klim Muravev got free with Bengt Felin in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Bengt-Arne Stabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyn Baiseitov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AIF's Bengt Felin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artem Yastrebov in the 92nd minute of play. AIF's Bengt Felin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save AIF from getting a goal against them. FC Caspiy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
