When Patrice Sénéchal fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Patrice Sénéchal a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Patrice Sénéchal. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Jury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Ghio in the 19th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Erwin Jury sent off a good shot on target. Gameiro Lenoble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Bongailas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Saint Côme de Fresné booed when Swatar United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ghigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Carrier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Cyril Jardin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the Swatar United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cyril Jardin kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute David Amato Gauci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameiro Lenoble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Bryan Le Thiec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwin Jury to make the kick off. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davy Poirrier went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Jury in the 66th minute of play. 66 minutes in the game, Erwin Jury dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Jury came free, but Sílvio Luiz Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Jury. In the 76th minute Kevin Bongailas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameiro Lenoble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Davy Poirrier hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Cyril Jardin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Dejan Spiteri in the 82nd minute really tested Gameiro Lenoble's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. David Amato Gauci struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Gameiro Lenoble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swatar United FC. After 91st play minutes Erwin Jury shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Sílvio Luiz Alcântara and just under the crossbar into goal. After 95 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Jardin. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Saint Côme de Fresné had won after a very even match.
