When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hélio Vaz sped through LinuX F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Duarte. Hélio Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Eric Duarte made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Warner Loria came free, but Ignacy Zagrobelny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Alcântara in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte got control of the ball when Hélio Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Matarrita was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Beninda in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
