An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Stålman in the 13th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Engström to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Bergman to maneuver through the defense. Polly Magoo Juniors's Gösta Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. German Cibran hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Collin. After 31 minutes, Isak Stålman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Isak Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Collin charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Collin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Stefan Collin hit a great ball. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Bergman in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Polly Magoo Juniors booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Kuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Stålman in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isak Stålman made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omero Zubiaga during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Omero Zubiaga kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Olof Ahlroht could save by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Isak Stålman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht. Sven-Olof Ahlroht was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Gösta Bergman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Ahlroht came out of the goal and Gösta Bergman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AIF's Wilhelm Alströmer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Alströmer to maneuver through the defense. Roy Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Isak Stålman sent off a good shot on target. If Isak Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isak Stålman in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Olof Ahlroht, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Stålman in the 86th minute. If Isak Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht got control of the ball when Isak Stålman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Isak Stålman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Olof Ahlroht narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AIF! Omero Zubiaga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht firmly grabbed it by the left post. Henning Strandberg made in the 97th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Polly Magoo Juniors's German Cibran. Polly Magoo Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
