Saint Côme de Fresné were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Real Còrdoba FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Steve Carrier took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Echezonachukwu Håland got free with Gameiro Lenoble in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Real Còrdoba FC booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davy Poirrier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Davy Poirrier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saint Côme de Fresné's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Còrdoba FC the free kick. 43 minutes into the game, Real Còrdoba FC's Echezonachukwu Håland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gameiro Lenoble made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Echezonachukwu Håland to make the kick off. Saint Côme de Fresné's Gameiro Lenoble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Echezonachukwu Håland in the 52nd minute of play. Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Real Còrdoba FC from getting a goal against them. Gameiro Lenoble stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Echezonachukwu Håland's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Davy Poirrier kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Còrdoba FC's Moise Tomulescu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Abascal in the 76th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Benjamin Erruki in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saint Côme de Fresné's Bryan Le Thiec. Baldomero Ugaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwin Jury's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Echezonachukwu Håland in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gameiro Lenoble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Real Còrdoba FC got a corner. Saint Côme de Fresné's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Abascal ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Mikel Arteta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikel Arteta in the 88th minute of the match. Real Còrdoba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
