Baldomero Guillem made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Kenneth Bajada sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Fagondo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Luiz Alcântara saved Swatar United FC from getting behind. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 28th minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Jacinto Fagondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Black Rose 1979 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvio Llope to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Swatar United FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
