The Royal Knights FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dé Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Christiano Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Cristo Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber da Costa in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber da Costa in the 62nd minute of play forced Royal Knights FC's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Royal Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christiano Arce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristóvão Valle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. In the 94th minute, Oséas Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Royal Knights FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
