Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Vaz in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Ahlroht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Alcântara came free, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Anton Harlén. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sven-Olof Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Beninda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Marian Beninda made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Tolsson made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mattias Kuse. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AIF's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin Tolsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Karl-Michael Bergstedt hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Marian Beninda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht didn't even have to move. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Alcântara in the 34th minute of play. Sven-Olof Ahlroht came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by KS LEW Chorzów's Marian Beninda. But to his dismay, Marian Beninda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 47 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Vaz. In the 47th minute, Hélio Vaz fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Beninda to make the kick off. Hélio Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Ahlroht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélio Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Olof Ahlroht was a little too slow when Hélio Vaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-4. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hélio Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Oséas Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sven-Olof Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Marian Beninda sped through AIF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Olof Ahlroht. Hélio Vazs short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Sven-Olof Ahlroht to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Beninda in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Hélio Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Marian Beninda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Vaz scored 0-6 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Ahlroht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 82 in the game by Hélio Vaz from a close distance when the talented Sven-Olof Ahlroht managed to make a qualified save. AIF's players were relieved. Sven-Olof Ahlroht was a little too slow when Pedro Luís Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-7. If Hélio Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hélio Vaz came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Olof Ahlroht could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Marian Beninda took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sven-Olof Ahlroht to make any attempt to save it. 94 minutes into the game, Marian Beninda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Olof Ahlroht. Marian Beninda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. KS LEW Chorzów played a much better game than AIF and deserved their victory. The AIF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
