After a rather tough play, Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Asdrubal Fernandes got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GynBsb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthos Manuela F.C. the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Andrézinho Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd match minute, Corinthos Manuela F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Pähle to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute René Retes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Corinthos Manuela F.C.'s Frederico Bertassi threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Torbjörn Hellsing, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guilherme Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
