João Paulo Silva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arsenio Gipuzkoa. João Paulo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovanni Baptista to strike the kick off in the second half. Natalio Centenales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. Aníbal Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Silva having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Centenales came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. The corner led to Família Ressaca MZ's Wojciech Rutecki getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Baptista came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Poalelungi. Raphael Cunha hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Centenales. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
