Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Colognese FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Colognese FC were awarded a corner. Ioan Cocârlă went to the cornerflag to take it. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Casado in the 22nd minute of play. Gino Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Batista in the 26th minute of the match. Andreas Pereira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colognese FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Colognese FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Casado to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Cocârlă came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gino Velasco managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Colognese FC's Edgard Batista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Edgard Batista could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Gino Velasco however easily saved by the left post. Oséias Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Carneiro having to interfere. Gino Velasco made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Geovanni Leme sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Colognese FC were awarded a corner. Ioan Cocârlă went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ioan Cocârlă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gino Velasco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Geovanni Leme hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Colognese FC's Alfredinho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 94th minute of play. Gino Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colognese FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
