Deportivo Pergamino's supporters rose to their feet, but Kang Li was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicky Donda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Nouvelle Vague players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Pergamino were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Ugutz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nouvelle Vague's Hugo Villaverde got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hugo Villaverde came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Nouvelle Vague fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Villaverde couldn't finish the play. Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico was substituted for Casimiro Ugutz. Paulo Renato Corrêa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Henrico in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pergamino defense, Luis Henrico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Bonano. The Deportivo Pergamino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Bonano should have stopped the shot. Nouvelle Vague's Osmar Vale was substituted for Vito Genovese. The audience was convinced that Luis Henrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Bonano was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Deportivo Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Valmir Starova. Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Nouvelle Vague from getting a goal against them. Roberto Bonano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Henrico in the 93rd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Nouvelle Vague's corner Delmiro Emeterio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Bonano quite easily take care of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
