Florencio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Sebastião Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gogo Elequemedo sped through SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florencio Cutberto. Kleopas Plouffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Godefroid, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Godefroid got free with Kleopas Plouffe in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gilbert Godefroid hit a great ball. Gogo Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by David Best. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Donostia was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Donostia came free, but Kleopas Plouffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kleopas Plouffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Signoretti in the 52nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Gogo Elequemedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florencio Cutberto, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Elequemedo got free with Florencio Cutberto in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gogo Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Kleopas Plouffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Donostia in the 77th minute of the match. Gogo Elequemedo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Cutberto. Florencio Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV made a substitution. Mats Linqvist replaced Dave Signoretti. Defensores de Mar de Ajó made a substitution. Rogelio Jaen replaced Alberto Aznar. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Placido Llanos was substituted for Sebastião Paes. Defensores de Mar de Ajó made a substitution. Rauf Nazif replaced Everardo Honrio. Inautzi Quesada made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gogo Elequemedo immediately put the ball in play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores de Mar de Ajó had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
