The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Gilbert Godefroid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Herminio Stephen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto. Florencio Cutberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Donostia in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florencio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Mendebal in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Olds School Pepo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Prudencio Mendebal hit a great ball. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV made a substitution. Francesco Abbagnale replaced Gilbert Godefroid. Prudencio Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jacinto Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mats Linqvist sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Serrizuela in the 89th minute of play forced SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Mats Linqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Linqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orlando Eudoxio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olds School Pepo.
