After 56 played minutes Atlas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ray Barltrop. After having played for 61 minutes, Wang Di Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wang Di Yi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Neto. Wang Di Yi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Angelo Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Richie in the 82nd minute of play. Miguel Ángel Benito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Resto having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Atlas FC's goalkeeper Angelo Resto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Ángel Benito. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Ángel Benito in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Resto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Resto was a little too slow when Wang Di Yi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-5. Miguel Ángel Benito might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Resto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ángel Benito ran back to his position shaking his head. Cascadia United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
