Angelo Resto was a little too slow when Lisandro Nuñez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Lisandro Nuñez took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Resto. Angelo Resto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Lv Ang Jing dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Resto, 3-0. Atlas FC's Angelo Resto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Atlas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Lisandro Nuñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Resto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Angelo Resto was a little too slow when Lv Ang Jing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 39th minute Lisandro Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Atlas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wen Lang Qing fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lisandro Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Nuñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Atlas FC defense, Lisandro Nuñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Resto. The Atlas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Resto should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Nuñez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Resto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Dario Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Cilio in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Artur Quintas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Quintas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlas FC's Jamie Van Hoeijveldt was substituted for Anibal Cilio. Atlas FC's Angelo Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 68th minute of play. Maximiliano Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. SAN LORENZO FC's Isaias Rosario was substituted for Allan Blom. SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell was substituted for Lisandro Nuñez. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Atlas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 76th minute of play forced Atlas FC's goalkeeper Angelo Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamie Van Hoeijveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dario Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Lv Ang Jing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lv Ang Jing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Padro's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Padro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Atlas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Resto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SAN LORENZO FC fully deserved thier win.
