In the 23rd minute Angelino Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Rayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Amigos Futbol Klub booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Perico in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Amigos Futbol Klub's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Montel came free, but Baldomiro Rayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Diego Perico 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 47th minute Santos Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Rayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Inautzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Amigos Futbol Klub's Baldomiro Rayman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Amigos Futbol Klub from getting a goal against them. Santos Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Rayman having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Angelino Inautzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Baldomiro Rayman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baldomiro Rayman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelino Inautzi went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Amigos Futbol Klub's goalkeeper Baldomiro Rayman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Inautzi. In the 70th minute, Diego Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Rayman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Inautzi in the 73rd minute. In the 80th minute, Angelino Inautzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baldomiro Rayman. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Amigos Futbol Klub's goalkeeper Baldomiro Rayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelino Inautzi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Baldomiro Rayman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. In the 87th minute of the match, Santos Montel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldomiro Rayman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baldomiro Rayman. After 95 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Santos Montel. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Rio Cuarto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amigos Futbol Klub.
