Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Santiago Mino made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Gonzalez. Victorino Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Tiniebra in the 7th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Rafael Tiniebra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palermo's Victorino Francis. Victorino Francis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 17th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Victorino Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by SAN LORENZO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saul Felo was slow to take the kick. During this time Palermo's players had a chance to rest. After 32 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by William Bengtsson. If Marcelino Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Lisandro Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 50th minute of play. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. William Bengtsson hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Arkadiusz Glowacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SAN LORENZO FC's Shao Zhen Xiao couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palermo. 57 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Medina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Astigar. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Medina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Lisandro Nuñez notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Palermo's Victorino Francis. Victorino Francis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell was substituted for Lisandro Nuñez. SAN LORENZO FC's Isaias Rosario was substituted for Allan Blom. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Arnoldo Medina hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Cordarrell got free with Victorino Francis in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Cordarrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Francis. Ciriaco Cordarrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 80th minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Palermo's Victorino Francis got control of the ball when Ciriaco Cordarrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorino Francis made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ciriaco Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Saul Felo threw the ball into play from the sideline. SAN LORENZO FC's Lv Tian Yuan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Victorino Francis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciriaco Cordarrell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 91 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Ciriaco Cordarrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SAN LORENZO FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Palermo's much stronger midfield.
