He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ybarlucea F.C. were furious when Remigio Ortzi was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Florentino Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Richie in the 21st minute of play. Angelo Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Olmedo in the 31st minute of the match. Alberto Olmedo scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Resto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Ybarlucea F.C. defense, Hector Aurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Eutor. The Ybarlucea F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Eutor should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matteo Mazzid during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Igor Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alberto Olmedo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Angelo Resto was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Markus Berg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Markus Berg really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 59th minute Anibal Cilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anibal Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Ybarlucea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Cilio came free, but Florentino Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Olmedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matteo Mazzid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Resto having to interfere.
