Julien Corbeau hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Marcelo Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan got control of the ball when Lisandro Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Quintas. In the 17th minute Lisandro Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lisandro Nuñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Nuñez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Artur Quintas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN LORENZO FC and the Cuervos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristo Ramond took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Astigar. Dario Astigar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Illan came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cuervos AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Nuñez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Cuervos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Jaszyna to maneuver through the defense. Shao Zhen Xiao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Lisandro Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Roldan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evaristo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SAN LORENZO FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Cuervos AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shao Zhen Xiao took the corner. Lv Ang Jing made a great header on SAN LORENZO FC's corner, it was just that Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan managed to reach the ball for a save. Ciriaco Cordarrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Roldan having to make a save. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciriaco Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Roldan having to interfere. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ciriaco Cordarrell sped through Cuervos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Roldan. Cuervos AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
