Miguel Ángel Benito took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Rayman. Baldomiro Rayman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Rayman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Cascadia United booed when Amigos Futbol Klub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Rayman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Benito's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Rayman. Amigos Futbol Klub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 22nd minute of play forced Amigos Futbol Klub's goalkeeper Baldomiro Rayman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Rayman came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito. But to his dismay, Miguel Ángel Benito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 47th minute, Amigos Futbol Klub's Luis Abecia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luis Abecia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Amigos Futbol Klub protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luis Abecia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Cascadia United's Constantino Neto was substituted for Abel Neron. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Amigos Futbol Klub:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cascadia United:s goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Perico was the one to do the kick off. Wang Di Yi might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Rayman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wang Di Yi ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Cascadia United's Baldomiro Rayman threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wang Di Yi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wang Di Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Baldomiro Rayman made a huge save. After 69 played minutes Amigos Futbol Klub got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Uhin. In the 70th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mauricio Uhin charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Uhin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Amigos Futbol Klub got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Uhin. Miguel Ángel Benito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Perico might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Rocco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Perico ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Perico scored 3-6 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Rocco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 98 minutes, Slawomir Walkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amigos Futbol Klub and the Cascadia United players grew even worse after the yellow card.
