Osvaldo Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Pes in the 5th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Tihomir Leustek. In the 6th minute of the match Luisito Bikendi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Leobardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Ezequiel Ilazki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Stephen skillfully saved the ball. AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Pes in the 16th minute of play. AC Rangers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ezequiel Ilazki in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ezequiel Ilazki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reynaldo Stephen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Pes in the 24th minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Tihomir Leustek. In the 26th minute of the match Luisito Bikendi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Leobardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Evelio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Pes in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Leobardo saved AC Rangers from getting behind. With a little luck, AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo got control of the ball when Rogelio Claris tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Rangers's Osvaldo Leobardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AC Rangers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Pes in the 35th minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Sportivo Italiano booed when AC Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luisito Bikendi came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Club Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Bikendi couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 39 in the game by Theo Hayles from a close distance when the talented Osvaldo Leobardo managed to make a qualified save. AC Rangers's players were relieved. Evelio Pes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Osvaldo Leobardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. Reynaldo Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

AC Rangers made a substitution. Amancio Inocente replaced Emiliano Aznaro. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Inocente made a kick off. Evelio Pes scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Leobardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Inocente. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Rangers's Clodoveo Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Stephen. That made the score 1-1 after 58 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportivo Italiano's zone, Amancio Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Stephen came out of the goal and Amancio Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Rogelio Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Clodoveo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen got control of the ball when Tihomir Leustek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogelio Claris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Leobardo having to make a save. Evelio Pes scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Leobardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Pes came free, but Osvaldo Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Sportivo Italiano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
