The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Santiago Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Evaristo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 55th minute of the match. Evaristo Roldan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Medina's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Teuma Castelletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Ramond in the 65th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Santiago Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Roldan was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palermo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
