Miguel Ángel Benito looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Evaristo Velasco. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascadia United's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Ángel Benito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Velasco made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Miguel Ángel Benito sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Rencio in the 30th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Selwyn Seangchjan hit a great ball. Evaristo Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Benito's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Miguel Ángel Benito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Evaristo Velasco made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cascadia United made a substitution. Constantino Neto replaced Abel Neron. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Ángel Benito to make the kick off. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Rencio in the 52nd minute of play. If Wang Di Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cascadia United's zone, Edgard Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Rocco came out of the goal and Edgard Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Benito in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Velasco saved Cachiyuyo EAS from getting behind. The supporters of Cascadia United booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Di Yi in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Ángel Benito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Benito in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 75th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Evaristo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dito Sena got free with Leonel Rocco in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the game, Selwyn Seangchjan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cascadia United's Tamás Lovas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cascadia United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
