Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boyd Benson started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Damian Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Benson in the 7th minute of play. Leszek Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Benson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojciech Piekarczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wojciech Piekarczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Quirk Duggan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leszek Zdeb. In the 22nd minute of the match Donall Mullan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leszek Zdeb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Wickerau SA's Wojciech Piekarczyk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lou McJohnny. Lou McJohnny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 27 minutes of play, Caherlea FC's Boyd Benson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leszek Zdeb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boyd Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leszek Zdeb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack Cooney during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wickerau SA booed when Caherlea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Wickerau SA's Lou McJohnny threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wojciech Piekarczyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jack Cooney hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Korneliusz Wiatrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lou McJohnny made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Quirk Duggan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caherlea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quirk Duggan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leszek Zdeb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leszek Zdeb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quirk Duggan's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Caherlea FC's Quirk Duggan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wickerau SA's Leszek Zdeb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Wickerau SA from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toran Branson got free with Leszek Zdeb in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute Damian Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lou McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Wincenty Cielencki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wickerau SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Quirk Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Zdeb having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wickerau SA's Wincenty Cielencki got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th play minute Quirk Duggan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leszek Zdeb. 2-4. 79 minutes into the game, Wincenty Cielencki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Lou McJohnny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Caherlea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Wiatrak came free, but Lou McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Wincenty Cielencki notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Caherlea FC's Lou McJohnny. Lou McJohnny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Caherlea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Piekarczyk came free, but Lou McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
