Gürol Artan started the match with the kick off. If Ed Bradshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gürol Artan during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Gürol Artan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Öztürk Arıbaş's late challenge caught a Sells FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Öztürk Arıbaş helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Agri JK's Öztürk Arıbaş got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Wallace Fields's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vefa İlmi was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Woody Finney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vefa İlmi. Agri JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Woody Finney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Ed Bradshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wallace Fields in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vefa İlmi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vefa İlmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wallace Fields in the 25th minute of the match. Ed Bradshaw struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Vefa İlmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sells FC. Agri JK's Vefa İlmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wallace Fields in the 28th minute of play. When Woody Finney fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sells FC's protests and gave Woody Finney a yellow card for diving instead. Öztürk Arıbaş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Bryan Bloom skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Agri JK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Enginsu Delioğlu hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Sells FC's Vincent Rich broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sells FC's Bryan Bloom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürol Artan in the 37th minute of play. Wallace Fields received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vefa İlmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sells FC's Bryan Bloom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürol Artan in the 40th minute of play. If Öztürk Arıbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Enginsu Delioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agri JK and the Sells FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enginsu Delioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wallace Fields made a kick off. The supporters of Agri JK booed when Sells FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Woody Finney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Öztürk Arıbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agri JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Öztürk Arıbaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Bloom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes of play Agri JK's Enginsu Delioğlu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 59 played minutes Agri JK got a freekick which was hit by Enginsu Delioğlu. When Woody Finney was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 60th match minute, Sells FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Woody Finney to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Sells FC's goal looked a bit too open when Öztürk Arıbaş came free, but Bryan Bloom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Öztürk Arıbaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sells FC's Eusebio Carbajal pulled a muscle in his leg after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aytunç Tulunay during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Agri JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytunç Tulunay to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Öztürk Arıbaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Öztürk Arıbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agri JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Öztürk Arıbaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sells FC's zone, Arın Önateş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Bloom came out of the goal and Arın Önateş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sells FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sells FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
